The Decimal Detectives are on the case! But they need you to help find out whodunit!

The Crooked Decimal is hiding in the streets of the city, and the Decimal Detectives can track him down by working their way along a street to find the right hiding hole.

You must type in a number including decimals in order to investigate the house marked with the same number. Behind the door you might find the villain – or you might find locals Rufus the dog, Cornelius the cat, Cheezy the mouse or Ratfink the rat. Each of those will tell you if they saw the villain running right or left, and you will need to adjust your number up or down accordingly.

When you find the Crooked Decimal, the sirens will wail and you’ll lock him in jail!

This fun game for fourth and fifth grade kids is a good way to introduce decimals, filled with light-hearted learning.

There are different difficulty levels, each level adding greater numbers of decimals to be investigated and leading you down alleyways between houses. Can you stop the Crooked Decimal from getting away?
