Parrot Supplies - An Online Game to Practice Coins & Bills

By: www.smarttutor.com
Paco the parrot is being taken to the pet shop to buy new items for his cage – but you can help by counting how many coins his owner, Carlos, has to see what he can afford.

Carlos will pick out the item he wants for Paco and show you four wallets, each of which has different amounts of money in it. It’s up to you to count the dollars, quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies in each wallet before choosing the one that matches the price tag on the item.

The prices can be more than a dollar, making this a good online challenge for kids in 1st and 2nd grade.

When you get the answer right, Paco will squawk and fly around his cage to show his delight. If you get five answers right, he’ll even fly through some ticker tape thrown through the air in celebration!
