Base Ten Blocks Bear (A Place Value Game)

By: www.learningbox.com
BT Bear is hunting blocks in the river, trying to make them stack up to ten. Can you help?

Sections of 1,2,3 or 4 blocks in a row are floating down the river and it’s up to you to click on the right ones for BT Bear to pick up. Make them add up to ten and BT Bear gives a happy cry. But he can’t hold more than ten at once – too many and he’ll spill all the blocks into the river with a cry of “Oops!”.

1st and 2nd graders will enjoy this game that teaches basic addition and helps children learn how to use a mouse to click on something moving across the screen.

You’re up against the timer too – there’s only so many blocks floating down the river. When they’ve all gone, your score is the total number of tens you have caught.

See how many you can help BT Bear catch!
