Base Ten Blocks (Two Digit Numbers)

By: www.ictgames.com
ADD the blocks and work out the number – that’s the key to this online game!

Stacks of blocks appear on the left-hand side of the screen, while on the right are three answers, one of which is right.

It is up to you to work out which one and then click on the correct answer. A right answer takes you to the next question, a wrong answer flashes a big red cross over the button you clicked.

The blocks stack in either tens or ones to help you work out the answer – and the highest number it goes to is 99.

This makes a useful way to teach kids in first grade about two-digit numbers.

There is no timer, so youngsters can play at their own pace. They won’t get a new question until they get one right, so it’s a useful way to learn.
