Shark Numbers Place Value Game

By: www.ictgames.com
THERE’S something in the water – but is it a hungry shark or is it a friendly dolphin?

Blocks are floating in the sea next to your boat - some in groups of a hundred, some in groups of ten and some single ones on their own. Nearby bubbles give three answers to what the blocks add up to. Click on the right one and a happy dolphin does a leap right over your boat and back into the sea.

But watch out! Click on the wrong one and a hungry shark takes a great big bite out of the boat. Too many bites and your boat will sink!

There are four levels of the game, for numbers up to 29, 59, 99 and 999, giving it a wide range of age range for youngsters in first, second and third grades.

There’s no time limit either, so you can take as long as you need to get the right answer – and make sure you don’t wind up with wet toes!
