Set the Angle Game - Playground ("Squirt the dog")
It’s time to play splash in the playground – and show off your knowledge of angles at the same time!
You have a water squirter, and you can take aim at various things in the playground – such as a clown, flowers or a bouncy castle – but to do so, you will need to work out the right angle to set the squirter at. A simple interactive activity for 3rd and 4th grade kids, this is a gentle way to introduce angles.
To take aim, simply click the arrows at the bottom of the screen until you have what you think is the right angle. Then drag the number from the bottom of the screen onto the squirter and it will turn and shoot! A little animation will show what happens when you hit the target – you can even make those flowers grow!
