Rags to Riches - Interactive Order of Operations Game
By: www.quia.com
Who wants to be a millionaire? You could hit the heights in this moneys-pinning game of math.
This online game tests your ability at working out orders of operation – the order in which you need to solve a math question. It presents you with a puzzle and an answer, but some of the steps along the way are missing. You are given four answers that show what the missing tasks might be, and it’s up to you to pick the right answer.
Get it right and you work your way up the winnings board towards that $1m (only for fun, though!) – but get it wrong and it’s game over. The questions can be quite complex – making this suitable for fourth, fifth and even sixth graders.
There are three lifelines you can choose as you go along, hints that eliminate one of the possible answers.
Have you got what it takes to be a math millionaire?
