Subtraction Bowling Game

By: www.abc.net.au

IT’S game night at the bowling alley, which is a great chance to test your subtraction skills.

The bowling lane starts off with ten bowling pins to knock down – but can you work out how many will be left standing after each ball?

The game gives you a subtraction puzzle, such as 10 – 3. Type in the right answer and you’ll see the bowling ball topple pins to leave the number you said would be left standing.

If you don’t get it right first time, the game will tell you whether you need more or less than the number you typed.

Useful for first grade students as they start to work with numbers, this clearly shows the number of items left as you subtract. It also needs you to use a keyboard, to type in the right answer.

Can you get all the right answers to topple all the bowling pins? See if you can!
