Number Balls - Simple Negative Numbers Game
Get to know negative numbers in this simple game of recognition.
In this online activity, a series of spinning balls fill the screen, each with a number on it. Some of the numbers are negative numbers, and you simply need to click on each ball in order from the lowest number to the highest.
So if the balls on screen showed the numbers 4, 12, -8, -16, you would click on the -16 first (the lowest number), then -8, then 4, then 12.
It’s a fun way to get to know negative numbers, making it useful for kids who practice integers. A clock times you as you play, and the faster you click on all the right balls, the higher your score at the end!
